Earthquake? In Centerton?

I knew we had a fault line running around here somewhere, but I forgot about it. We haven't had an earthquake here in my life time for sure. I actually didn't feel anything, I was at work, but the kids and Trenton felt it in Centerton. Trenton said that there was a loud boom and then a little shaking, he thought a plane was flying too low. I thought it was kind of cool, as long as they don't start becoming a frequent thing.

Today I am having a lazy day at home with the kids. They are of course napping at the moment. I am debating on joining them! We do have plans for later to go to my mom's for dinner. My little sister Katy is bringing home a new boyfriend for us to meet. Poor guy, hope he is up for the chaos!

Nap Time!

I always have a bunch of things to do saved up for nap time. Laundry, dishes, post on here, sweep, and mop. Today I put Landon to bed at 12:30 and Natalie at 1:00. Well, somebody is still up now at 2:00 doing somersaults and talking to his bear. Natalie went right to sleep, but not our little bubby, wide awake. He is way to young to be cutting out nap time. To be honest I was hoping my kids would keep one nap a day until they start school. I love my little babies! They are the best part of me!

Gentry Safari

Last week we went to the safari with Aunt Jenifer, Makaylah, and Grandma. Natalie, you were so excited to go but as soon as the animals got close you freaked out as usual. You aren't much of an animal person. One of the baby goats just looked at you and you screamed like it was going to eat you for lunch. Landon, you loved them until they started to steal your Cheetos (we actually brought them for the animals, but you wouldn't share). Makaylah is quite the animal lover! She likes to hug and kiss (yuck) the animals. Landon and Makaylah rode the ponies. Natalie, you wanted to ride a pony so bad but you just couldn't quite get the nerves to do it. You all did love the monkeys the most! I love to watch you babies learning and discovering new things! I thank God every day that I get to be your mommy!

I no longer have two under two

I haven't posted in a long time. Mostly because I didn't think anyone really would want to read about my boring life. But, I have been writing a journal to my kids. I am thinking about transferring it over to this blog and then printing it out yearly. This way I can add pictures as I please, and it will be all nice and neat. I will be writing most of my post directly to my kiddos, but feel free to comment when you want.

Also my babies are growing up! Natalie just had her 3rd birthday! Woo Hooo! It was so much fun. We had her party at Jump Zone and she had a blast!

We also went through the first anniversary of Natalie's heart surgery. I wasn't exactly sure how I would feel, but was kind of shocked to find out I was a little sad. I looked though pictures and cried and remembered very clearly how scared we were. I also remembered how hard it was to let her go back for surgery, and how she looked afterwards. This year because it is still so fresh the anniversary brought back a lot of anxiety. But I am so happy that it is over and that Natalie will be able to live her life healthy and happy now. This anniversary should symbolize the joy of having her fixed healthy heart! She has gained a whopping 12lbs since surgery!
